I have watched this many times and each time I am blown away.
Hello there, which is here, where you are right now. My name is Spencer P. Lane and I have finally given in to my interests for renewable energy and sustainable living and have created 1 green seed. A place where you can learn about the efforts of the many people, organizations and companies that are helping to “green” the Miami Valley, Ohio and the World.
Before I go on, I have a confession to make. I am not a writer. I never thought it would be possible for me to write about anything. I always struggled with a writing assignment, whether in middle or high schools, college or wherever. Writing was not fun, a pain in the... well a pain everywhere. The torment, the self flagellation and the pangs in my belly led me to believe that using a red-hot poker to gouge out my eyeballs would be far more desirable than writing.
Now, I think differently. Writing for me is hard but to do hard is necessary to help me learn what I am made of. To push through and emerge on the other side a changed person. To become myself. Whoa, heavy man. I step into the breech and embrace the unknown. Join me and we will jump into the green.
